 Regulation No. 25/2020

of the Rector of the University of Opole

of March 16, 2020

on changes in the organization and working system of the University of Opole

 

Pursuant to Art. 23 sect. 1, subsect. 2, and sect.2 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2020, item 1085) in connection with §8(1) and (2) of the Ordinance of the Minister of Health of 13 March 2020 on announcement of state of epidemiological threat on the territory of the Republic of Poland (Journal of Laws 2020 Item 433), I order the following:

 § 1

All conferences, events, meetings, assemblies and events at the University of Opole are cancelled.

 § 2

1.              Consultations for students will be conducted by telephone or by e-mail.

2.              Civil law contracts for conducting classes may be annexed as needed.

 § 3

1.              It is obligatory to minimize personal contacts of employees at work.

2.              Where possible all matters should be handled via e-mail.

3.              In situations requiring personal contact is absolutely essential to follow the rules stated by the Chief Sanitary Inspector.

4. Heads of the organizational unit of the University of Opole organize duty-hours and appoint persons on duty. Heads of units and post holders remain in telephone contact in the hours of work specified in the Regulations of Labour of the University of Opole. Other people working remotely during working hours shall perform their duties in accordance with the instructions of their line managers and are available at the e-mail addresses.

5. Information about duty hours and the way of dealing with given matters shall be put on the websites of the individual units.

6. Bursar's office of the University of Opole is working in a rostering system. Payables, such as salaries and scholarships, are paid according to schedule. 

7. Other financial matters are dealt with in accordance with the information given on the Bursary website.

8. Other than financial documents that require a signature must be sent as scans (PDF) or photos (JPG), until further notice. Please, make sure that the necessary signatures and stamps are clear.  Hard copies of these documents must be sent in accordance with the current rules.

9. Documents referred to in §3(6) must be sent within the internal e-mail system, ie. with the use of uni.opole.pl domain.

 § 4

Access to university buildings is reduced to the minimum, in case of doubt, a decision is taken by the Chancellor of the University of Opole.

 § 5

Staff members, students and doctoral students are required to become familiar with the current announcements on the sanitary-epidemiological situation.

 § 6

1.  While organizing the work, heads of organizational units and chairpersons of college bodies and committees (teams) at the University are required to take the necessary measures to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV -2.

2. The change of the system and organization of work, and introduced restrictions do not constitute a release of employees of the University of Opole from work duties.

 § 7

The implementation of this regulation is entrusted to the Chancellor of the University of Opole.

 § 8

The Regulation shall enter into force as of 16 March 2020.
