Regulation No. 24/2020 of the Rector of the University of Opole

of March 13, 2020

on changes in the organization and working system of the University of Opole

Acting pursuant to Art. 23 (1) and (2)(2) of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, Item 1668 as amended) in connection with  Art. 31 and  Art. 9  of the Act of 24 October 1974, Labour Code (Journal of Laws 2019, Item1040 as amended) and  Art. 3 of the Act of March 2, 2020 on specific measures related to the prevention, and combating COVID-19, and other infectious diseases and emergencies caused by those diseases (Journal of Laws 2020, Item 374) I order the following:

 § 1

In order to counteract COVID-19 and its spreading I instruct employees:

1)  to perform work specified in the contract of employment for the the given period of time outside the usual place of work (remote work from home),

2)  to remain on standby to perform work under a contract of employment at the University of Opole or another designated place (duty hours), and to perform it at the usual work place at the request of the line manager.

 § 2

The Bursar of the University of Opole and heads of organizational units of the University of Opole shall prepare and submit by March 13, 2020 to the Chancellor of the University of Opole plans of the organization of working time of subordinate employees (rota) for the settlement period (till 31 March 2020) under the §1  of this regulation.

 § 3

The implementation of this regulation is entrusted to the Chancellor of the University of Opole.

 § 4

The Regulation shall enter into force as of 13 March 2020.
