Regulation No. 14/2020 of Rector of the University of Opole of 25 February 2020 on the suspension of international trips and arrivals of students, doctoral students and staff members.

Pursuant to Art. 23 (2) (2) of the Act of 20 July 2018 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018 Item. 1668, as amended) and §13 (3) of the Statute of the University of Opole (Resolution No. 198/2016-2020 of the Senate of the University of Opole of 9 May 2019, as amended: Resolution No. 243/2016-2020 of the Senate of the University of Opole of 23 January 2020, I order the following:

In view of the communiqués issued on 24 February by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the World Health Organisation (WHO) concerning the declaration of a public health emergency of international importance, which relate to the epidemiological threat of the CoronaVirus 2019 – COVID -19, the travelling of students, doctoral students and employees to/from the following countries is suspended:

1) China

2) Hong Kong,

3) South Korea,

4) Northern Italy (in particular Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna) and Lazio,

5) Iran

6) Japan

7) Thailand

8) Vietnam,

9) Singapore.

The suspension of trips and arrivals referred to above is effective until further notice.

The list of countries subject to travel/arrival suspension will be updated in accordance with the guidelines of the State Sanitary Inspectorate. 

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of signature.
