16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence

Dr Marzanna Pogorzelska, Rector's proxy for equal treatment, invites you to a series of meetings as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, which is an annual international campaign that starts on 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and finishes on 10 December, Human Rights Day.

What exactly is femininity? We will talk about women's visions, experiences, expectations and challenges by listening to the stories of girls who took part in a survey conducted by sociologists in cooperation with the Laboratory for Change Foundation.

A story about the method of self-defence, self-confidence building, assertiveness for women, girls and people socialised to the role of women.

Images of women in media 

A group activity on how to protest assertively, how to say that you do not give permission, how to draw someone's attention to harmful behaviour.

Workshop on body wisdom and signals that you don't see when we do something against ourselves.

An anti-violence workshop to raise awareness and attention to issues of carnality and intimacy, particularly in the context of violence and gender discrimination.

Workshop during which you will have a chance to use various means of artistic expression

to create works of art with an anti-violence message.
