Jubilee Gala of the University of Opole (Live Broadcast)

65 years of tradition, 25 years of university - this is the motto of the culmination of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the University of Opole. We have invited many eminent guests to the ceremony planned for 13 March 2019 in the Opole Philharmonic Hall - people connected with the history of our institution, i.e. the Pedagogical Higher School in Opole and the University of Opole, including former rectors, people of science, culture and art, honorary doctors, local government officials, parliamentarians, entrepreneurs, sponsors and friends, whose support, understanding and kindness our university has enjoyed since its foundation.

The evening, during which special awards will be given to 25 distinguished personalities, will be honoured by a vocalist, Alicja Majewska, and a pianist and composer, Włodzimierz Korcz, as well as the Big Band of the University of Opole.

A limited number of free tickets to the Philharmonic Hall will be available at the Office of Communications and Public Affairs of the UO in Collegium Maius, from 4 to 8 March 2019, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be open to residents of Opole.

UO employees who want to participate in the gala are asked to register (name and surname of the employee, university unit) and give the number of booked invitations by March 1, 2012 to the following address: promocja@uni.opole.pl 

Acceptance of the pass is considered as the confirmation of participation.

After preparing a full list of invitations, we will forward them to the individual units by the Mailing Office.

The official gala, which will start at 7 p.m., will also be broadcast live - a link to the broadcast will be available on our website just before the start of the event.

The day before - on 12 March 2019 in the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (Opole, pl. Mickiewicza 1) a jubilee mass celebrated under the leadership of His Excellency Bishop Andrzej Czaja will be held at 6 p.m.

After the service we invite you to a concert performed by the Academic Choir "Dramma per musica"  conducted by Dr Elżbieta Trylnik and the symphony orchestra of the State School of Music in Opole under conducted by Hubert Prochota.

In the afternoon we invite you to a concert performed by the Academic Choir "Dramma per musica" UO under the direction of Dr. Elżbieta Trylnik and the symphony orchestra of the State Music School in Opole under the direction of Hubert Prochota. The programme will include Stanisław Moniuszko's Mass in E minor for female choir, organ and string orchestra.
