Another successful round of talks on the establishment of the Medical School at the University of Opole was carried out on Monday, 14 March, in the Ministry of Health. The government was represented by Deputy Health Minister Jaroslaw Pinkas and the University of Opole by Professor Wieslawa Piątkowska-Stepaniak, Vice-Rector,  and Marcin Miga. The delegation included also Roman Kolek, Vice-Marshal of the Opole Voivodeship and Members of Parliament: Antoni Duda and Jerzy Żyżyński.

Deputy Minister Jarosław Pinkas heard the report on the latest developments in the project, showed great understanding for the plans of our university and declared his strong support. Full acceptance and support on the part of the Ministry of Health are of crucial significance for the success of our project.
