Cutting-edge hospital to cooperate with UO
The future cooperation between the medical educational centre of the Vital Medic hospital in Kluczbork and the medical faculty of the University of Opole was one of the most important points of the conference accompanying the grand opening of the new hospital in Kluczbork.
A private, specialist hospital Vital Medic was opened on 28 January, 2016. The ceremony was attended by distinguished doctors, university scholars, local authorities’ representatives, politicians, and health service officials.
The hospital specialises in neurosurgery, orthopaedics and rehabilitation. It is a cutting-edge hospital with operating theatres which look like taken from sci-fi movies. Spacious halls, glass walls, light and colours topped with perfect functionality are just some of the most important features of the new hospital. The cost of the equipment alone was in the region of fifty million PLN.
‘In the future our hospital is to become a university hospital affiliated with Collegium Medicus of the University of Opole, where medical students will have their training’ – said Piotr Duch, President of the Board of Vital Medic.
