University of Opole in European University Association
We are very pleased to announce that the University of Opole has been granted a prestigious membership in the European University Association (EUA). This is a significant step forward in our international commitment and proof of the quality of our University's work.
The European University Association (EUA) is a respected organisation of higher education institutions from across Europe and one of the European Commission's main partners in its dialogue with academic communities in Europe. The EUA aims at fostering cooperation between universities, promoting innovation in education, and representing the interests of universities internationally. Being a member of the EUA is a unique opportunity to participate in prestigious projects, exchange experiences and reach for new opportunities in the sphere of science and education.
The application process to the EUA involved meeting certain criteria and presenting the university's strategic achievements. With the commitment of the Vice-Rector for Science at the UO, Prof. Jacek Lipok, and the work of Dr Sylwia Frach, Dr Barbara Curyło, Prof. Dominik Malchar-Michalska and Dr Małgorzata Mitrus on the application, we have successfully joined the ranks of European leaders in education and science.
"We are delighted to be part of this respected community and are excited to pursue joint projects with other member universities," says Prof. Jacek Lipok. " Within the framework of EUA membership, we will strive to further develop our university and support modern, international research and educational initiatives."
