Chancellor's announcement
on visits at the Halls of Residence in connection with the BRAVO and CHARLIE-CRP alert levels in force on the territory of the Republic of Poland
In connection with the second alert level (BRAVO) and the third CRP alert level (CHARLIE-CRP) being in force on the entire territory of the Republic of Poland, I hereby inform you that in accordance with the Regulation of the President of the Council of Ministers of 25 July 2016 on the scope of undertakings carried out in particular alarm degrees and CRP alarm degrees (Journal of Laws of 2016, item 1101), the bodies and employees of the university are obliged to carry out a detailed range of undertakings in matters of security and crisis management, in particular the introduction of strict control of persons entering the premises or the prohibition of entry to the premises of the university.
Accordingly, the entry of outsiders to the UO Halls of Residence is prohibited until further notice. Only students of the University of Opole holding a valid student card and the resident's next of kin, i.e. parent, spouse, child, sibling and legal guardian, are allowed to visit a resident of the UO Hall of Residence during the visiting hours specified in the Rules of Halls of Residence, i.e. 7:00 - 21:30. When visiting, a student is obliged to show a valid student ID card each time, without being summoned by the porter. Entry to the UO Hall of Residence takes place after identity verification by the security service, in the presence of the potentially visited resident of the Hall of Residence.
