Token registration for language courses and exams
FULL-TIME, FIRST CYCLE PROGRAMMES (BA)
The Foreign Language Centre invites all students of the first-cycle studies to become acquainted with the terms and conditions of registration for foreign language courses in the summer semester and to register for foreign language examinations in the winter examination period.
The needed information can be found on the subpage: Token registration
Pending registration, please check your login and the status of your tokens.
Registration deadlines:
1. Registration for language courses
09-15.01.2023 – for 2nd and 3rd year
students (who have not started language courses so far)
16-23.01.2023 for 1st year students
10.02.2023 - registration confirmation
NOTE:
When registering, please pay attention to the description of the group to which you intend to register. Groups with the note “Credit Transferred” are intended only for students who are qualified for having their credit for a foreign language course transferred, i.e. they already had a language course at level B2 (or higher) within a different programme completed at the UO or other university. In this case students do not take classes but are obliged to present a relevant document to the Coordinator for a given language.
2. Registration for exams in
the winter examination period: 09-23.01.2023
NOTE:
When registering, please pay attention to the description of the group to which you intend to register. Groups with the note EXAM CREDIT TRANSFERRED are intended only for students who are qualified for the transfer of their credit for a foreign language exam obtained within a different programme completed at the UO or other university. Groups with a note EXAM CREDIT TRANSFERRED (WITH A CERTIFICATE) are for students who have a relevant B2 (or higher) certificate entitling them to have the examination credit transferred upon such a certificate. The list of accepted certificates is available on www.sjo.uni.opole.pl.
In the above cases, it is also necessary
to submit the document to a given Coordinator, and to register for another language
course in order to complete a 120-hour foreign language course at any level for
a grade credit (with no examination).
The consequence of incorrect
registration due to a student's fault is the loss of a token.
