On 26 September, the University of Burgundy in Dijon, a partner university in the FORTHEM alliance, celebrated its 300th anniversary. The President of the University of Burgundy, Professor Vincent Thomas, invited the authorities and representatives of all alliance partners to celebrate this special occasion.

The University of Opole was represented by a delegation headed by the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Jacek Lipok, who took part in a joint ceremonial parade of authorities of FORTHEM alliance universities. It was the third meeting of top university authorities in the history of the alliance, following the FORTHEM joint statute signing ceremony in January 2021 and the meeting in Mainz in September 2021.
