UO suspends cooperation with institutions of science and higher education of Russian Federation and Republic of Belarus.

on the suspension of cooperation with scientific institutions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus and suspension of travel for business, research and teaching purposes to the territory of Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation
Pursuant to Art. 23(1)of the Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Research (Journal of Laws of 2021, Item 487 as amended) and Section 13(3) of the Statute of the University of Opole (Resolution No. 126/2020-2024 of the Senate of the University of Opole of September 30, 2021), the Rector orders as follows:
Section 1
In view of the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, I suspend official cooperation with institutions of science and higher education of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The above decision is a gesture of defiance against military actions against independent Ukraine.
Section 2
Due to the ongoing hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, all trips of employees, doctoral students and students of the University of Opole for business, research or teaching purposes to the territory of Ukraine, the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation are suspended until further notice.
Section 3
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of signature.
