From 22 to 26 March 2021, the University of Opole is organising an event as part of the "joint short-term mobility" - an innovative form of FORTHEM alliance exchange which includes students and PhD students from all partner universities: Dijon, Jyvaskyle, Mainz, Palermo, Riga and Valencia - 26 people in total.
The idea of the event was conceived by Prof. Katarzyna Molek-Kozakowska and Dr Michał Wanke.
The week-long event called "Prospering in
Academia" comprises a number of activities: a student conference,
workshops on various academic skills conducted by UO specialists, group tasks
and afternoon lectures and meetings with students from Opole, and meetings in cultural institutions..
The entire event is being held remotely, with Paulina Panic from the Office of Research and Project Management in charge of its execution.
It is an opportunity to popularize the recent activities of the FORTHEM laboratory: Multilingualism in School and Higher Education, Diversity and Migration and Experiencing Europe.
