New Databases Available
The resources of the UO’s electronic databases have been expanded with access to three new specialist databases: LWW Journals (Lippincott Williams and Wilkins), SAGE Journals Online and SAGE Research Methods.
LWW Journals (Lippincott Williams and Wilkins)
The Lippincott Williams & Wilkins medical journals database
provides access to current research in more than 20 medical fields, including
anaesthesiology, trauma and orthopaedic surgery, cardiology, neurology,
nursing, gynaecology and obstetrics, radiology, internal medicine, pathology
and infectious diseases. Under the license we provide access to 75 magazines.

SAGE Journals Online
SAGE Journals Online is a full-text database providing access to
the latest findings in the humanities, sociology, psychology, politics,
economics and business, management and many other fields. Under the licence
obtained by the UO, we provide access to the
Humanities and Social Sciences collection, which includes over 769
peer-reviewed scholarly journals.

SAGE Research Methods
SAGE Research Methods is a comprehensive training platform in the field of research methods. It provides access to books, reference materials and articles published by SAGE, inter alia, on statistics and interpretation of results. It is an excellent tool that supports the research work of both scientists and students. The database also includes videos on research methods and projects.
