The Student Cultural Spring “Piastonalia”will be hosted at the University of Opole from 22 to 25 May 2024. The programme includes mainly concerts, but the participants will also enjoy competitions and tournaments, activities organised by the UO Academic Sports Association, food stands and the Student Parade.

The University of Opole takes over the Piastonalia from the Opole University of Technology on Wednesday 22 May. It will happen during the Student Parade, which will set off from the Opole University of Technology campus and will then pass by the UO campus until it reaches the town hall. There, the students will receive a symbolic key to the city, which will be handed over to them by the authorities of both universities and the Mayor of Opole, Arkadiusz Wiśniewski.

Over the next three days, the UO campus will host as many as twenty-eight artists who will perform on two stages. They will include Brodka, Avii, Sarius, Catchup and Kartky. On Thursday and Friday the concerts will start at 18.00 and on Saturday at 18:45. Admission to all of them, as indeed to the entire Piastonalia, will be free of charge.

In addition to the concerts, the organisers, led by the Students' Union, will also prepare a number of other attractions. On Wednesday, the Big Chalking and the Piastonalia Breakfast, and on Thursday: the Orlikonalia football competition on the pitch in the centre of the campus, the dancing workshop "Latino Dance - let yourself be swept away!", the EA Sports™ FC 24 tournament and the flanky ball tournament.

On Friday, the following are planned: a volleyball competition, a run to the roof of the tallest hall of residence "Niechcic Towerrunning", a collective zumba and the continuation of the EA Sports™ FC 24 tournament and the flanky ball tournament. Saturday will start with morning coffee, followed by another zumba party, the Student Games, self-defence training with the Odra Opole Boxing Club and the finals of the flanky ball tournament.
