Condolences to Charles University Community

Shocked and deeply moved by the tragic events that took place in the Charles University in Prague, on behalf of the academic community of the University of Opole we extend our sincere sympathy to the families of the victims and the injured, and to the entire Prague academy, where we have many friends and partners in joint projects. 

A university is a place where the power of the mind, curiosity about the world and the tranquillity conducive to them should rule.  Such a terrible crime and any violence is absolutely inexplicable.

We send words of solidarity and support to the authorities of the Charles University.  Our thoughts are with you in these difficult days.
