Holiday wishes

Dear Members of the Academic Community,

One of the most beautiful holidays in Polish tradition and culture - Christmas - is upon us. In a few days, we will sit down at the Christmas table with our families and loved ones. We will share the Christmas wafer, as tradition has it, and extend wishes. Allow me, too, to wish you a most beautiful Christmas, a joyous Christmas spent in a warm and family atmosphere. May this Christmas bring you peace, joy and time for reflection.

I wish you a Christmas that is warm at heart, but also frosty and snowy outside the window, a Christmas of family and dreams. May you also have plenty of presents under the Christmas tree.

A week later, we will welcome the New Year but also appraise the year that is practically behind us. It was a good year and I would like to thank you for it. I would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in me, I would like to thank you for the enormous amount of work you have put into building the University community, the prestige and position of our University on the academic map of the country. Thank you for your continued support. Your work, commitment and determination are the source of our collective success.

I trust that the coming year - the year of the 30th anniversary of our University - a time of many new challenges, new projects, will bring us a lot of achievements and much satisfaction.

May love and peace accompany you and your loved ones every day in the coming year. I wish you all the best, fulfilment of your innermost dreams, academic and educational success. Have a healthy, merry Christmas and a happy New Year. May we all prosper!
