Events
International panel discussions and a graduation ceremony of the 10th edition of the Europa Master programme will take place on 13 and 14 December 2024 in Room 20 of Collegium Civitas. The events will be attended by university staff from Opole, Mainz and Dijon.
‘Eastern Enlargement – a political, social and cultural clash in Europe. 20 years later’ – is the topic of a panel discussion that will open the two days with Europa Master at the University of Opole. Its main speaker will be Didier Herbert, former Director at the European Commission. Academics from the three universities and their graduates and students will take part in the debate.
Afterwards, graduates of the Europa Master programme will talk about its impact on their lives and careers. The session ‘Europa Master: a few years later…’ will also be a great opportunity to reminisce, reflect and discuss . Not only on the programme itself, but also on Europe, the idea of social integration at international levels and the education of students in these conditions.
The following day, at noon, there will also be a graduation ceremony to conclude the 10th edition of the Europa Master’s programme. This is a unique master’s programme whose students spend consecutive semesters at: University of Opole, Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (Germany) and the University of Burgundy (France). In the fourth semester, however, they select the university of their choice.
