Nearly 100 graduates at Faculty of Law and Administration graduation ceremony

This year’s graduates in Law, Internal Security, Administration or Business Services gathered at the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Opole, which took place on October 17, 2025 at the Student Culture Centre.

The meeting at the SCC was an opportunity for speeches, acknowledgements, and congratulations. Some graduates spent two years at the Faculty of Law and Administration, others three, five or more. The participants of the ceremony therefore had much to think back on, while looking boldly towards the future.

Speakers included the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration, Prof. Ewa Pierzchała, the Director of the Institute of Legal Sciences, Prof. Piotr Stec, the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Joanna Ryszka, the Dean of the Regional Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law, Jolanta Konofalska; and a member of the Presidium of the Regional Bar Association in Opole, Magdalena Filipowicz.

Students were represented by Lidia Stefanek, President of the Students’ Union of the Faculty of Law and Administration, and Julia Kała, the fifth-year law student representative. Szymon Buczek spoke on behalf of the graduates.

In addition to the speeches, there was also time for commemorative photographs, including a group photo with caps thrown into the air. The agenda also included a violin performance by Arkadiusz Czyżewski and a joint rendition of ‘Gaude Mater Polonia’, followed by ‘Gaudeamus igitur’.

There were also some awards presented during the graduation ceremony. Ten persons were honoured for the best master’s theses, eight for the highest grade averages, and eight for their work as class representatives of the year. Filip Złośnik, former President of the Students’ Union of the Faculty of Law and Administration, was also recognised for his work, as was Aleksandra Pientka for her eight other achievements.
