Dr Barbara Curyło, Dr Paweł Andrejczuk and Aleksandra Krems from the FORTHEM Centre, University of Opole, represent the Alliance during the second European Science Diplomacy Conference. The event takes place in Copenhagen as part of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Our representatives work on establishing contacts in Denmark with other European alliances, including the EUTOPIA alliance, in the field of science diplomacy. Their presence at the conference is the next stage in preparations for the UO’s presidency of the FORTHEM Alliance, which the university will assume in 2026.
One of the items on the agenda of the aforementioned presidency will be a scientific conference.
Its topics will include science diplomacy and its role in consolidating the actions undertaken in this area throughout Europe, particularly within the framework of other alliances, organisations and initiatives.
