The University of Opole has established cooperation with FlexiProject, a Polish developer of a system for project and project portfolio management (Project Portfolio Management – PPM). The partnership aims to enhance the educational process by introducing practical tools and solutions used in the business environment.
FlexiProject software supports comprehensive management of projects and project portfolios – from planning and creating project schedules using Gantt charts, through budget, resource, and risk control, to ongoing monitoring of the project progress. The tool also enables work in accordance with various project management methodologies, including the Agile approach, allowing teams to effectively adapt their actions to changing conditions and project needs.
As part of the cooperation, students of the Logistics programme will receive free access to the FlexiProject system. The software will be used by BSc and MSc students to practically develop their skills in project planning, implementation, and performance analysis.
The partnership between the University of Opole and FlexiProject is an example of an effective connection between theory and practice. It provides students with the opportunity to work with a professional tool that supports the functioning of modern project-oriented organizations, helping them build competencies highly valued in the labour market.
The coordinator of the cooperation on behalf of the University of Opole is Dr Eng. Iwona Pisz.
