Professor Izabella Pisarek visited Dijon, France

The Head of the Chair of Earth Surface Protection and Spatial Management, Prof. Izabella Pisarek represented the University of Opole at the ‘Physical meeting of the Food Science Lab – Fall 2024’ working meeting. The event took place on 7 and 8 November 2024 at the University of Burgundy in Dijon.

The event was addressed to representatives of the partner universities of the Forthem consortium. The work and meetings of the Food Science Lab team belonging to it were in a hybrid format. Researchers met not only in the rooms of the University of Burgundy, but also online.

The researchers from the following universities were present on-site: University of Burgundy (France), University of Palermo (Italy), University of Latvia (Latvia) and University of Opole (Poland), while the representatives of the University of Valencia (Spain) and Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (Romania) connected via the Microsoft Teams platform.

Representatives from Vitagora also participated in the meetings. This is an agri-food innovation cluster operating in France, which connects business partners with innovation providers and international network partners.

The following scienists presented in Dijon the research they are carrying out as part of the Food Science Lab programme of the Forthem Alliance.

The aim of the event was to bring together Food Science Lab members and their potential collaborators from partner universities. All this to discuss their past and future actions, as well as to enable the exchange of knowledge and experience within the Alliance.
