Piastonalia 2026 at UO

Concerts, sporting events and student socialising – this is what awaits participants in the ‘Piastonalia 2026’ Student Cultural Spring at the University of Opole. The event – open not only to students – will take place on the university campus on 21, 22 and 23 May.

Piastonalia will be opened by a student parade, which will take place on 18 May. At 01.30 pm, the student parade will set off from the ‘Łącznik’ building of the Opole University of Technology and, at around 2.00 pm, will pass through the UO campus before arriving at Opole City Hall. There, the students will receive symbolic keys to the city gates.

After that, until 20 May, the Opole University of Technology will host the Piastonalia festival, and on 21 May the festivities will move to the campus of the University of Opole. The day’s programme includes Orlikonalia, a bowling trip to Szara Willa, and the Pop Yard featuring board games, darts, free padel matches, bachata classes and DJ sets.

On 22 May, the Niechcic Towerrunning race, Student Coffee Break, Student Games and a FIFA tournament will be held. The programme also includes concerts – the following acts will perform in the evening: CalMinD, Szczytek, Wac Toja, Ewelina Lisowska and Guzior.

The following day will feature performances by MaryMaks, Meteroids, Łzy, Janusz Walczuk and Tymek. In addition, participants can look forward to: a Piastonalia breakfast, dance workshops, FIFA and Flankyball tournaments, and the ‘Illegal race on anything and everything’.
