The event will be attended by the rectors and presidents of partner universities, who will discuss the future of the Alliance and its impact on the universities\u2019 development to date.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The FORTHEM Presidency is the alliance\u2019s highest governing body, comprising representatives of the partner universities, responsible for setting the strategic direction of its development. The Presidency is held on a rotating basis, and the university holding this role coordinates activities and sets the tone for cooperation across the entire Alliance.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Presidency\u2019s meeting will also include a session of the FORTHEM Student Council. The Council plays a key role in promoting students\u2019 interests, ensuring that their views are taken into account in the Alliance\u2019s strategic planning.<\/p>\n\n<p>As part of the Presidency, the newly established PhD Network will also hold a meeting to work on joint initiatives and directions for the development of international cooperation among early-career researchers.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event will be accompanied by an international academic conference <a href=\"https:\/\/uni.opole.pl\/wydarzenia\/konferencja-naukowa-bridging-knowledge-and-diplomacy-the-role-of-universities-in-informal-and-science-diplomacy\/\">\u201e<strong><em>Bridging Knowledge and Diplomacy: The Role of Universities in Informal and Science Diplomacy<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/a>, which will focus on the role of universities in shaping science diplomacy and international cooperation.
