{"id":24234,"date":"2025-09-26T11:11:51","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T09:11:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uni.opole.pl\/wydarzenia\/opening-of-academic-year-on-3-october\/"},"modified":"2025-10-06T11:09:03","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T09:09:03","slug":"opening-of-academic-year-on-3-october","status":"publish","type":"wydarzenia","link":"https:\/\/uni.opole.pl\/en\/wydarzenia\/opening-of-academic-year-on-3-october\/","title":{"rendered":"Opening of academic year on 3 October"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>While teaching will commence on 1 October, the ceremony inaugurating the 2025\/26 academic year at the University of Opole will take place two days later in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Theology at 1a Drzyma\u0142y Street in Opole.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, we will start welcoming the new academic year a day earlier. On October 2nd at 6 p.m., Bishop Andrzej Czaja will celebrate a Mass for the academic community of Opole at the Academic Church of St. Jadwiga \u015al\u0105ska (1a Drzyma\u0142y Street).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main inauguration ceremony is scheduled for October 3rd at 11:00 a.m. and it will be opened by \u2018Gaude Mater Polonia\u2019 and a speech delivered by the Rector of the University of Opole, Prof. Jacek Lipok. Afterwards, the invited guests will also address our community, and following the matriculation of students and doctoral candidates, the President of the Students&#8217; Union will take the floor.
