UO\u00a0Doctoral School is\u00a0conducted.<\/h3>\n<p>When submitting the documents, the candidate should submit a\u00a0written consent of\u00a0a potential supervisor\/s, together with their declaration regarding the number of\u00a0doctoral students they supervise.<\/p>\n<h3>Scientific supervision over a\u00a0doctoral student may be\u00a0provided by:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>supervisor<\/li>\n<li>more than one supervisor<\/li>\n<li>supervisor and auxiliary supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Declarations forms:<\/h3>\n<p>Supervisor \u2013\u00a0Declaration of\u00a0a potential supervisor (.doc)<br \/>\nAuxiliary supervisor \u2013\u00a0Declaration of\u00a0a potential auxiliary supervisor (.docx)<\/p>\n<p>The list of\u00a0potential supervisors who are employees of\u00a0the University of\u00a0Opole, along with the research topics they propose, can be\u00a0found on\u00a0the admissions page, in\u00a0the \u201cOffer\u201d tab.<\/p>\n<p>The supervisor may be\u00a0an employee of\u00a0another university, including a\u00a0foreign university, provided that they meet the requirements set out in\u00a0the Act on\u00a0Higher Education and Science and the Rules of\u00a0the Doctoral School of\u00a0the UO.<\/p>\n<p>The candidate registers his account in\u00a0the Internet Candidate Registration (IRK) system (https:\/\/rekrutacja.uni.opole.pl) and applies for a\u00a0place of\u00a0his choice in\u00a0a specific discipline, in\u00a0accordance with the limit set for a\u00a0given year.<\/p>\n<p>The candidate may enter the admissions procedure only for one place included in\u00a0the list of\u00a0places awarded to\u00a0individual scientific disciplines in\u00a0which enrolment to\u00a0the Doctoral School is\u00a0conducted, determined by\u00a0a regulation of\u00a0the Rector of\u00a0the University of\u00a0Opole.<\/p>\n<p>The limit of admissions to the Doctoral School for the 2023-2027 cycle is set by the Regulation of the Rector of the University of Opole No. 38\/2023 of 28 April 2023.<br \/>\nIndividual disciplines have been allocated 3 places each.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/monitor.uni.opole.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/ZR-38-2023-limit-przyjec-do-Szkoly-Doktorskiej-2023-24.pdf\">https:\/\/monitor.uni.opole.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/ZR-38-2023-limit-przyjec-do-Szkoly-Doktorskiej-2023-24.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>The candidate submits documents to\u00a0the Admissions Committee of\u00a0the Doctoral School.<\/h3>\n<p>Documents in\u00a0paper version, within the time limit specified in\u00a0the admissions schedule, shall be\u00a0submitted by\u00a0the candidate in\u00a0person at\u00a0the Office of\u00a0the Doctoral School, or\u00a0in the manner specified in\u00a0Article 57(5) of\u00a0the Act of\u00a0June 14, 1960 \u2013\u00a0Code of\u00a0Administrative Procedure (uniform text, Journal of\u00a0Laws of\u00a02020, item 256, as\u00a0amended), in\u00a0particular, the candidate sends the documents by\u00a0the designated operator pursuant to\u00a0the Act of\u00a023 November 2012 \u2013\u00a0Postal Law (uniform text, Journal of\u00a0Laws of\u00a02018, item 2188, as\u00a0amended).<\/p>\n<h3>The Admissions Committee verifies the submitted documents and admits candidates to\u00a0the admissions procedure.<\/h3>\n<p>Qualified to\u00a0the admissions procedure may be\u00a0a candidate who has set up\u00a0an individual account in\u00a0the IRK and has submitted all the required documents within the time and place specified in\u00a0the admissions procedure schedule.<\/p>\n<p>If submitted documents are incomplete, the Chairperson of\u00a0the Committee calls the candidate to\u00a0complete them within 7\u00a0days from the date of\u00a0delivery of\u00a0the summons. Failure to\u00a0comply with this obligation within the set period will leave the candidate\u2019s application without consideration, and thus prevent the candidate from participating in\u00a0the admissions procedure.<\/p>\n<p>Documents submitted after the deadline specified in\u00a0the admissions procedure schedule shall be\u00a0returned to\u00a0the candidate without considering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Admissions Committee informs the candidates about the dates and place of\u00a0interviews on\u00a0individual accounts in\u00a0the IRK and on\u00a0the website of\u00a0the University of\u00a0Opole.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Admissions Committee conducts interviews with the candidates.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Admissions Committee notifies the candidates about the results of\u00a0the admissions procedure on\u00a0individual accounts in\u00a0the IRK.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Admission to\u00a0the Doctoral School takes place by\u00a0way of\u00a0entry on\u00a0the list of\u00a0doctoral students, which is\u00a0made by\u00a0the chairman of\u00a0the Committee on\u00a0behalf of\u00a0the Rector.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The list is\u00a0published in\u00a0the \u201cAdmissions results\u201d tab in\u00a0the IRK and on\u00a0the website of\u00a0the University of\u00a0Opole.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Refusal of\u00a0admission to\u00a0the Doctoral School takes place by\u00a0way of\u00a0an administrative decision, issued by\u00a0the chairman of\u00a0the committee on\u00a0behalf of\u00a0the Rector.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The candidate is\u00a0entitled to\u00a0submit a\u00a0request for reconsideration of\u00a0the refusing decision to\u00a0the Rector, through the chairman of\u00a0the committee, within 14\u00a0days from the date of\u00a0delivery of\u00a0the decision.<\/p>\n<p>The basis for the application for reconsideration of\u00a0the case may only be\u00a0an indication of\u00a0the violation of\u00a0the conditions and procedure of\u00a0admissions to\u00a0the Doctoral School, as\u00a0defined by\u00a0the resolution of\u00a0the Senate of\u00a0the University of\u00a0Opole. The Rector shall consider the request within 30\u00a0days from the date of\u00a0its submission. Before issuing the decision, the Rector gets acquainted with the opinion of\u00a0the Admissions Committee.
