The Office, fulfilling the function of PMO (Project Management Office), provides administrative support to project applicants and managers, and supervises work on the correct submission and settlement of applications for external funding.<\/p><p>The organisation of\u00a0the work of\u00a0the Office and cooperation with other organisational units of\u00a0the University is\u00a0based on\u00a0process management. That is, all activities are reflected in\u00a0prepared process flows, with the roles, activities and relationships of\u00a0all process participants described. Such an\u00a0approach allows tasks and responsibilities to\u00a0be transparently defined during development and implementation of\u00a0projects, with the aim of\u00a0eliminating bottlenecks and thus reducing the duration of\u00a0the entire process and improving communication.<\/p><p><strong>The Office\u2019s tasks include:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Standardisation of processes related to the preparation, launch, implementation<br \/>and correct settlement of projects;<br \/>Periodic verification of the University\u2019s project needs in order to determine the direction of the Office\u2019s actions;<\/li><li>Collaborating with the University Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer in initiating projects, finding partners for their implementation, as well as commercialising the results of the projects carried out;<\/li><li>Initiating any actions aimed at obtaining external funds and launching projects;<\/li><li>Active cooperation with University staff in the preparation of project documentation,<\/li><li>Monitoring the progress of projects and supervising project teams within the scope of the Office\u2019s competence;<\/li><li>Administrative and financial handling of ongoing projects and cooperation with other University units in this regard;<\/li><li>Coordination of actions related to project control;<\/li><li>Implementation of actions related to student and staff mobility within the framework of international agreements and international educational and scholarship programmes, as well as within the framework of individual mobility agreements;<\/li><li>Maintaining an electronic project list \u2013 Project Database.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9627aac elementor-widget elementor-widget-button\" data-id=\"9627aac\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"button.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-button-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-button elementor-button-link elementor-size-sm\" href=\"https:\/\/bniop.uni.opole.pl\" target=\"_blank\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-button-content-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-button-text\">Office for Research and Project Management<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-503648ac e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"503648ac\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;jet_parallax_layout_list&quot;:[]}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Office for Research and Project Management The Office for Research and Project Management is an administrative unit of the UO, established to organise and coordinate all activities related to the preparation and implementation of scientific, teaching and investment projects at the University.
