Such connections may lead to joint projects and research in the future.’ Academic conferences are not merely a platform for presenting research findings. They also provide a space for conversation, experience sharing, discussion and exploring opportunities for future academic collaboration.

On the second day, there were even more panel sessions – nine in total. They covered topics such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in the economy, the economics of uncertainty, crises, interventionism and financial stability, education and the labour market, ESG in strategy and operations, globalisation, trade, supply chains, agriculture, households and, finally, contemporary industry challenges.

As many as 47 young researchers prepared presentations here: Wiktoria Skiba, Odion Ojehomon, MA, Piotr Marek Zych, MA, Artur Gołębiowski, Jarosław Chłopecki MA, Nataliia Shylina, Piotr Łuczak, MA, Aleksander Nadworny, MA, Julia Kurpias, MA, Karol Chaberka, MA, Paweł Derecki, MA, Jasin Sbai, MA, Dominika Wiśniowska, MSc, Kacper Kłos, Piotr Bujak, Martyna Danak, Natalia Watras, Heybat Naghiyev, Fatima Zahra Znioi, MSc, Monika Sawicka, MA, Marcin Marud, Emilia Jędrysek, Karolina Czapkowicz, Jacek Szczygieł, Dawid Jasiński, MSc, Patrycja Byrcz, MSc, Alina Mingalieva, MA, Maja Krajewska, Kinga Celtner, Oskar Cieślik, Natalia Dziewa, Tomasz Góreczny, MA, Weronika Majchrzak, MA, Łukasz Farys, MA, Filip Mańtok, MA, Suman Bhattarai, MA, Karolina Krzysztoń, Julia Gierczak, Miłosz Omiatacz, Amelia Oleksak, Dominika Chabros, MA, Julia Wieczorek, MA, Magdalena Binkowska, MSc, Maria Żuchowska, Wojciech Matuszewski, Jakub Pyszorski and Maksymilian Janiszewski.

‘Everyone will find something to suit them here, from topics relating to artificial intelligence to those concerning the natural environment. Issues such as finance and banking have also been raised,’ emphasised Alicja Maryniak, Chair of the Student Research Group of Economists. ‘Given how complex the economy is, I believe that each of these issues is important, as they influence decisions made at the highest levels and, consequently, our daily lives. Thanks to this conference, early-career researchers can show their work and learn first-hand how to speak in public and manage stress. Such an event also serves as motivation to carry out research and not leave it gathering dust in a drawer, but to share it with the world.’

The conference was organised by: The Faculty of Economics, the Institute of Economics and Finance, and the Student Research Group of Economists at the University of Opole.

PHOTOS

["post-28552","aktualnosci","type-aktualnosci","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
