Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, the University of Opole is carrying out the project of establishing the International Research and Development Centre for Agriculture and Food industry - Revitalisation of the Royal Academy of Sciences in Prószków.

Techbud Ltd. together with its subcontractors has just completed the construction works that included the renovation of the roof, insulation of the building and replacement of windows and doors in the building at 22 Oleska Street, Opole.

A modern transformer station has been built On the premises at 14-22 Oleska Street. The station allows for smooth operation and power supply for both the Centre and companies operating there.

Next, the project will continue with constructing  the second wing of the building at 22 Oleska Street, constructing a laboratory building with an experimental greenhouse and a phytotron chamber, and purchasing research equipment for the Centre's laboratories.

It should be remembered that the value of the project, financed from the EU subsidy and granted by the Marshal's Office of the Opole Voivodeship, together with the funds contributed by the UO, amounts to over PLN 50 million.
