Vice-Rectors of UO at consultations on strategy for internationalisation of research

The Strategy for the Internationalisation of Polish Higher Education and Research was the subject of a meeting of rectors, vice-rectors, students and PhD students, which took place on 1 April 2026 at the University of Wrocław. The University of Opole was represented by Vice-Rector for Education, Prof. Anna Weissbrot-Koziarska, and Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Daniel Pietrek.

The meeting was attended by representatives of universities in Wrocław and Opole, members of the National Team for the Development of the Strategy for the Internationalisation of Polish Higher Education and Science, as well as: the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Prof. Andrzej Szeptycki, the Director of the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Michał Goszczyński, and the Director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, Dr Wojciech Karczewski.

Dr Wojciech Karczewski presented a draft of the Strategy for the Internationalisation of Polish Higher Education and Science as part of a series of consultations taking place at academic institutions across the country. The final version of the document will be released once these consultations have concluded.
