W dniach 14-17 X 2015 r. odbędzie się w Hotelu Ziemowit w Jarnołtówku prestiżowa konferencja ECOpole’15. Będzie to dwudziesta czwarta z rzędu konferencja poświęcona badaniom podstawowym oraz działaniom praktycznym dotyczących różnych aspektów ochrony środowiska przyrodniczego. Weźmie w niej udział ponad 130 osób z kraju i zagranicy przy walnym udziale organizacyjnym Wydziału Przyrodniczo-Technicznego oraz Wydziału Chemii Uniwersytetu Opolskiego.

Otwarcie konferencji nastąpi w środę (14.10.2015) o godzinie 19,00 wideo referatem: The Climate Change Crisis ? - laureata Nagrody Nobla, profesora Harolda Waltera Kroto.

Wykład i czat z profesorem do obejrzenia na żywo TUTAJ

Ponadto referaty plenarne wygłoszą takie osobistości świata naukowego, jak np.: prof. Bogusław Buszewski z Uniwersytetu Mikołąja Kopernika w Toruniu, prof. Eiliv Steinnes z Politechniki z Trondheim (Norwegia) i prof. Marina V. Frontasieva z Instytutu Badań Jądrowych w Dubnej (Rosja).
