The lecture - Moving forward from grief (historical and personal): Strategies for working with clients - will be delivered by Professor Maureen Wilt from the University of Central Missouri, USA, where she teaches and carries out research in the field of social welfare, social work practice, families and groups, and coping with loss.

- Her research interests also include trauma issues, Holocaust education, alcohol and drug addictions, and mental health, - says Dr Marzanna Pogorzelska from the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences. Professor Wilt used to work with veterans, victims of the Holocaust and their families, and she has wide experience in the field of grief and loss issues. Though the lecture is primarily addressed to psychologists and educators, anyone can attend it because the issues raised there relate to or will apply to virtually all of us, - adds Dr Pogorzelska.  

The lecture is organised by the the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences and it will be held on October 5, 2017, at 12:00 pm in the Auditorium Hall B (Oleska 48). The lecture will be delivered in English.
