About University of Opole
Inauguration of the academic year 2019/2020
University of Opole comprises twelve faculties and nineteen sceintific institutes cooperating with other university units, which together form a dynamic, modern and versatile academic organism.
The University of
Opole was established in 1994 as a result of joining one of the best Polish pedagogical
academies – the Higher Pedagogical College in Opole and Opole branch of the Catholic
University in Lublin.
The University of Opole is continually
expanding its educational offer and is developing cooperation with academic and
business partners both in Poland and abroad. Our students can go on placements and exchanges within the framework of
Erasmus+ programme or Europa Master Programme. They can obtain various
scholarships and can develop their interests and passions taking
part in a wide range of activities in the fields of science, sport and culture.
Thanks to a wide range of fields of study and specialities you can easily find a programme which will meet your interests and will provide you with knowledge and skills necessary in your future career and life.
School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Opole offers courses of the Polish language for foreigners and prepares our students to the exams according to the European standards at all levels - Certificate from Bureau for Academic Recognition and International Exchange recognizing the knowledge of Polish as a foreign language.
